Paul Toofan M.D.
Dr. Paul Toofan received his B.S. from the University of Iowa and received his M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then completed his training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Toofan has over 10 years of experience in the Emergency Department and for the last two years has been practicing at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital. In practice Dr. Toofan has seen over 20,000 patients in his career and has experience treating children, adults, the elderly, and trauma patients.
Away from work he loves to spend time with his wife, three children, and dog. His hobbies include photography, cycling, and traveling.
Angela Anselm FNP-BC
Angela graduated from Millikin University in 2002 with a BSN and in 2008 from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a registered nurse in the ICU and the Emergency Department settings. As a nurse practitioner, Angela has worked as a Hospitalist, in Critical Care, in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care.
In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
Laci Watson FNP-BC
Laci graduated from Lincoln Land Community College in 2009 with an ADN and in 2012 from Benedictine University- Springfield with a BSN. She obtained a MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in 2017. She has experience as an ICU nurse in the burn unit, surgical, neurology, and trauma ICUs. Most recently she has worked with a variety of critically ill patients in the surgical ICU at Memorial Medical Center and also worked as a rapid response nurse throughout the hospital.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Hobbies include taking family trips, reading, and gardening.
Dave Cooper RT (R)
Dave graduated from Lincoln Land Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Sciences. During his career he has worked in Radiography, MRI and CT, in both outpatients the inpatient and settings. He worked at all three hospitals in Springfield, Memorial, St. John’s and Doctors where he gain experience in all aspects of Radiography. When not at work he likes to spend time with his family, wife of 27 years and children, ages 22, 20, 20 and fourteen. if not with his family he can be found fishing or just chilling watch football.
Amiee Hyatt RT(R)
Amiee is a 2008 graduate of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science of Radiologic Technology. She received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Radiology in 2012 from Florida Hospital College. She has previously worked in an emergency room at a level one trauma center where she gained experience in trauma radiography. She has also worked closely with pediatric and ICU patients in other hospital settings. Most recently, she has worked at an urgent care center in St. Louis.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and four pets. She has a passion for science, information technology and animals and has been a vegetarian for 20 years. Her interests include music, arts and crafts, listening to NPR and watching documentaries.
Alexis has a year of customer service skills. She has worked in medical field for 11 years and is a 2006 graduate of LLCC as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Most recently being a Nurse Tech on the cardiovascular care unit at St Johns Hospital. She enjoys serving her community.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her fiancée and four children and Boston terrier. She enjoys taking family trips and participating in her kids extra curricular activities. Her hobbies include projects around the house making their house a home!
